Fyrtorn2handed 2016

The Fyrtorn2handed sail competition started on Saturday, 27 May, 2016, with 19 boats
taking part. The pictures show the participating boats, in the order they started. There was
very little wind and only six boats made it around the 95 Nm course within the time limit.

Many people watched the start of the race as the annual Lommafesten was held at the same time.

The first boat to start at 12.00 was Snärtan, an H-boat crewed by Erik Sedhed and Mikael Sedhed.

The second boat to start at 12.32 was Monica, an Albin Express with Anders Almgren and Kristoffer Nordström.

At 12.32 the third boat started. Windy, an Albin Express with Mattias Alroth
and Martin Jönsson. They completed the race in a total time of 24.46 hrs.

Malla, a Minitransat 6.50 with skipper Stefan Danielsson started
at 12.44. They completed the race but not within the time limit.

Lis af Domsten, a Comfortina 32 with Lars Rosenqvist and Magnus Runesson, started at 13.04.

Hebe, a Hanse 312 with Jonas Bengtsson and Hugo Burgerhaut, started at 13.16.

Nimo, a Hanse 331 with Frank Nilsson and Mattias Bergströmner, started at 13.34.

Onyx, an X-102 with Pär Halléus and Staffan Linde, started at 13.43.

Myggan, a J/80 with Anders Larsson and Peter Bårmann, started at 13.55. Myggan came second with a time of 22.46 hrs.

Je maintiendrai, a First 33.7 with Rikard Elwing and Mikael Engström, started at 14.04.

Hot Chocolate, an Elan 333 with Tobias Dahlström and Mattias Eriksson, started at 14.16. They finished in 24.16 hrs.

Jubilon, a J92 with Mikael Håkansson and Christer Lindblad, started at 14.21. Jubilon won in 21.54 hrs.

Ingela and Per Lindström started at 14.37 with Xirius, an X 332.

Beatrix, an X 99 with Mats Dahlander and Martin Fridh, started at 14.46. They finished the race in 22.27 hrs.

Rolf Engels and Peter Larsson started at 14.51 in Tyrik, an Alerion Express 38.

Josefina, an X 37 with Johan Wickman and Lars Thorsson, started at 15.40. Josefina came in third in 21.17 hours.

Indy an X 37 with Henrik and Peter Krantz started at 15.44.

The last boat to start was Breaking Wind, a Centerline 40 with Ulf and
Pontus Nilsson. They started at 16.05 when there was very little wind.
